open garbage transportation
An activity was conducted by members of E-Cell of SKIT :TOPAZ,in which they took a detailed account that how the garbage of the city is treated. The garbage that is collected from various sources, is transported in open tractors and thus a large amount of it get scattered on the roads. The garbage spreading on main roads SPOILS THE BEAUTY AND CLEANLINESS of the city. Thus garbage should be transported to the outside areas in closed tractors.
Garbage outside Temple
If such is a condition outside the temple for which we talk of cleanliness and internal purity then what could be expected from other locations of the city???????
Moti Doongri temple is a famous tourist place .Is this what we are offering to our guests?????What impression we are leaving on their minds ????
Garbage outside hospital
Hospital authorities and Municipal Cooperation should take immediate steps for proper disposal of hospital waste including used syringes, bottles, medicines etc and help in maintaining HEALTHY AND HAPPY CITY
Garbage in Market area
The E-Cell TOPAZ of Skit college conducted an activity to take a detailed account of the total waste and garbage of the city.In this activity, they inspected the most crowded markets of the city. The above picture depicts a pity condition of Ghat Market where vegetables and eatables are being sold near the garbage heaps. When it comes to our health, hygienic food is the major contributing factor.People are not buying vegetables but PAYING FOR A MAJOR THREAT ON THEIR HEALTH.We intake food for nutrients and proper growth of our body but such unhygienic food is NOT BUILDING up our body rather it is making us PRONE TO VARIOUS DISEASES.So,proper disposal measures should be taken and open dumping should be avoided and awareness programs should be conducted on personal hygiene.
Garbage outside parks
A survey was conducted by Topaz,E-cell,SKIT on the conditions of city parks. As we all know one goes to a park to get the fresh and oxygenated air and refresh himself from all the stress.
But what happens when the condition of the parks is as shown above???
These city parks are stinking from the foul smell of garbage. Parks used to be a place for morning and evening walks but now they have become a PERMANENT GARBAGE DEPOT
.These have become central attraction of the city......not for their beauty and greenery but for the garbage that is scattered outside them.To maintain the beauty of the city, immediate steps need to be taken for the maintainence of city parks.
Open Garbage Burning
An activity was conducted by the E-Cell Topaz of SKIT college. In this activity a detailed account was taken that how the garbage of the city is treated after collection and transportation to the outside areas. This was very shocking that the garbage was being burnt near the Shipra Path. Garbage included plastics, polythenes, wrappers and cardboard etc. This is a threatening situation as very poisonous gases and particles are released on burning these non biodegradable materials. The Municipal Cooperation should take urgent and immediate actions to stop open burning of garbage and safe and economic measures should be taken to recycle the biodegradable waste.
Cow intaking garbage
Topaz, the E-cell of SKIT conducted a survey on garbage disposal. India is a country where cows are worshipped as GODDESS, as Mother. But this depicts the condition we have made of our Goddess. The garbage is thrown in the open areas as such. When the stray animals intake this non-biodegradable garbage, it is harmful for them which may even lead to their death. Therefore, open dumping of garbage should be avoided.
Garbage Dump In Residential Areas
A survey was conducted by Topaz,E-cell ,SKIT to find out garbage disposal of residential areas. The results were very shocking as we can see in the above picture. To maintain proper hygienic conditions we don’t keep garbage in our homes....But what is this????
We are disposing it out of our homes...then where’s the difference left??????
This seems as we are creating a disease prone surroundings for us..and we all know what are it’s results...so better we should find a proper way of garbage disposal of these areas.
