Her Highness Rani Vidhya Devi curious about NEN....

Topaz breaks all the boundaries and makes it reach to Her Highness Rani Vidya Devi, she was delighted to see the concern of students towards the depleting resources and emerging opportunities, consequently. look at what she says"lets conserve more energy-use solar energy, put off lights/fans/appliances when not needed" discussing about NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP NETWORK she further added that she will convey the message of "opportunities in India" to all her students at MAHARANI GAYATRI DEVI SCHOOL, JAIPUR. Her curiosity made us so much involved with us that she kept asking about our future plans regarding the campaign she also offered all sorts of help and guidance required for the "NOBLE CAUSE", As Her Highness calls it.

Party waste on the road

The members of TOPAZ, E-Cell of SKIT conducted a survey on disposal of left over waste of party. A huge amount of party left over was thrown opposite Dwarka Das Udyan in Mansarover. This picture illustrates the level of mentality of high society people who throw all the left over party waste in public places.

MINOROTIES AFFAIRS MINISTER SALMAN KHURSHID SIGNS INTO SGNATURE CAPMAIGN

during the Grand literary fest TOPAZ the E-Cell of SKIT conducted a vibrant signature campaign with an aim to dig as many solutions as possible to the problems of water scarcity, energy, problems with present education system and many more.....eminent people gave their comments and views regarding this. Central minister of minority affairs Salman Khurshid vehemently supported the campaign and gave his expert comments saying that young people have fire in them and they can set ablaze all the negativities that have seeped into the various sectors. he was very much impressed to learn about the works and NEN

open garbage transportation

An activity was conducted by members of E-Cell of SKIT :TOPAZ,in which they took a detailed account that how the garbage of the city is treated. The garbage that is collected from various sources, is transported in open tractors and thus a large amount of it get scattered on the roads. The garbage spreading on main roads SPOILS THE BEAUTY AND CLEANLINESS of the city. Thus garbage should be transported to the outside areas in closed tractors.

Garbage outside Temple

A survey was conducted by E-Cell TOPAZ of SKIT college on the garbage disposal. It was very shocking to see that a huge amount of garbage was scattered even outside the famous Ganeshji’s temple of the city.
If such is a condition outside the temple for which we talk of cleanliness and internal purity then what could be expected from other locations of the city???????
Moti Doongri temple is a famous tourist place .Is this what we are offering to our guests?????What impression we are leaving on their minds ????

Garbage outside hospital

Members of E-Cell TOPAZ of SKIT college conducted a survey on HEALTH AND HYGEINE of the city. The ironical situation was the garbage outside the SWAI MANSINGH HOSPITAL of city.If such is the condition outside the hospital then what could be expected from rest of the city. Health and hygiene of patient are the prime responsibilities of any hospital. The biggest question that arises from such a condition is : ARE HOSPITALS MEANT FOR CREATING PATIENTS or treating them????Do they pay for their HEALTH AND TREATMENT OR THE GARBAGE that in turn make their condition worse.
Hospital authorities and Municipal Cooperation should take immediate steps for proper disposal of hospital waste including used syringes, bottles, medicines etc and help in maintaining HEALTHY AND HAPPY CITY

Garbage in Market area

The E-Cell TOPAZ of Skit college conducted an activity to take a detailed account of the total waste and garbage of the city.In this activity, they inspected the most crowded markets of the city. The above picture depicts a pity condition of Ghat Market where vegetables and eatables are being sold near the garbage heaps. When it comes to our health, hygienic food is the major contributing factor.People are not buying vegetables but PAYING FOR A MAJOR THREAT ON THEIR HEALTH.We intake food for nutrients and proper growth of our body but such unhygienic food is NOT BUILDING up our body rather it is making us PRONE TO VARIOUS DISEASES.So,proper disposal measures should be taken and open dumping should be avoided and awareness programs should be conducted on personal hygiene.

Garbage outside parks

A survey was conducted by Topaz,E-cell,SKIT on the conditions of city parks. As we all know one goes to a park to get the fresh and oxygenated air and refresh himself from all the stress.
But what happens when the condition of the parks is as shown above???
These city parks are stinking from the foul smell of garbage. Parks used to be a place for morning and evening walks but now they have become a PERMANENT GARBAGE DEPOT
.These have become central attraction of the city......not for their beauty and greenery but for the garbage that is scattered outside them.To maintain the beauty of the city, immediate steps need to be taken for the maintainence of city parks.

Open Garbage Burning

An activity was conducted by the E-Cell Topaz of SKIT college. In this activity a detailed account was taken that how the garbage of the city is treated after collection and transportation to the outside areas. This was very shocking that the garbage was being burnt near the Shipra Path. Garbage included plastics, polythenes, wrappers and cardboard etc. This is a threatening situation as very poisonous gases and particles are released on burning these non biodegradable materials. The Municipal Cooperation should take urgent and immediate actions to stop open burning of garbage and safe and economic measures should be taken to recycle the biodegradable waste.

Cow intaking garbage

Topaz, the E-cell of SKIT conducted a survey on garbage disposal. India is a country where cows are worshipped as GODDESS, as Mother. But this depicts the condition we have made of our Goddess. The garbage is thrown in the open areas as such. When the stray animals intake this non-biodegradable garbage, it is harmful for them which may even lead to their death. Therefore, open dumping of garbage should be avoided.

Garbage Dump In Residential Areas

A survey was conducted by Topaz,E-cell ,SKIT to find out garbage disposal of residential areas. The results were very shocking as we can see in the above picture. To maintain proper hygienic conditions we don’t keep garbage in our homes....But what is this????
We are disposing it out of our homes...then where’s the difference left??????
This seems as we are creating a disease prone surroundings for us..and we all know what are it’s results...so better we should find a proper way of garbage disposal of these areas.

Garbage disposal-Ajmeri Gate

Members of E-Cell of SKIT ,JAIPUR visited some of the prime locations of the city. The condition of Ajmeri gate bus stand is clearly depicted in the above picture.Bin is there but the garbage is splitted outside the bin on the main road and no one is there to check this out. This place is in the vicinity of police control room of Ajmeri Gate even then the authorities take no action for its proper maintainence. This is one of the entrance gate to the city. What impression would such a condition of the central location of the city make on the visitors. Is this the way we are welcoming the visitors to the capital city of Rajasthan?????

SKIT TOPAZ SEMINAR OF FINDING NEW DIMENSIONS IN ENERGY SECTOR

Wind powered energy has numerous benefits, especially when compared to fossil fuels as energy sources.
A few of the benefits of using wind energy are it is a clean renewable energy source and energy costs are less than fossil fuel.
Wind energy can supply power for wind turbines to make electricity to supply homes or businesses.
Wind farms supplying electricity for networks on a large scale uses the same concept.
Harnessing wind energy, on land or water, is a cost effective, clean renewable energy source.
Topaz skit conducted a seminar on it and inspire to people to find opportunities of wind energy for production of electricity like other countries.

E-Cell Members save water

Wastage of water in the form of pipeline breakage /leakage is a common problem in India to which no one pays any heed. A similar scenario was seen on 25th January 2010, in Jaipur at JDA market, when the water was flowing freely on road and the people especially the shop owners being aware, didn’t make any efforts to save water. But one of our E-cell members, Heena Garg took the immediate initiative and called the Plumber for the repair work. That member interacted with the people there and spread the awareness about water conservation and then even convinced the shop owners for the payment. The payment was given to plumber by contribution from all the shopkeepers.
